| Rotary Club - HELP NEEDED |
Sunday, December 14 2003 |
| The Tamworth Rotary Club needs your help! This year they are raising funds for the new indoor track and training centre at Tamworth AC. They are looking for volunteers to help out with Santa's sleigh during its visits around Tamworth. As it is the club they are raising funds for, we feel it would be appropriate for members of the club to help them. If you think you can help, please e-mail Chris Graves on the contact us page for more details. Or for those of you who can read Word documents find full details here: Click to download (Deleted)

| We have had a tremendous amount of visitors to the new Tamworth Athletic club website since we launched it a few weeks back. We thank those who gave us feedback on the site, and we encourage more of you to do so by using the webmasters address on the contact page. We are looking at ways to make the site more appealable to you, and are looking at introducing new features in the coming weeks, these being a message board/forum and a classified ads section. If anyone can think of a feature that no self respecting athletic club site can be without, drop us an e-mail.

The Boys team climbed to 8th place in the West Midlands League, our highest position for many years in the under 13's. There were three Under 17 Ladies taking part, Rebecca Hallam finished in 27th, Katherine Snowden in 32nd and Sarah Williams in 35th. The Under 17 Men's team was depleted by injuries but both Adam Bache in 33rd and Michael Pierpoint in 45th ran strong races and kept Tamworth in 6th place at the end of two races. The next race in the series is on the 7th December in Northampton.
