| TAC Wins Three Herald Sports Awards |

Congratulations to Tamworth AC. Tamworth's athletes Laura Langowski and Sarah Chetwynd both came away as joint winners of the athletics category in the Tamworth Herald Sports Awards for 2003. Laura put in superb performances during the 2003 season and won the prestigious Athletics Weekly Grand Prix. Sarah won the 20k walk in Dublin where she knocked 6 minutes off her personal best giving her 8th place in the UK Rankings for this event. The Young Athletes League won the 'Junior Team of the Year'for their successful promotion to the Premiership league.

| Tamworth AC Is 30 Years Old This Year |

Happy Birthday to Tamworth AC. The club will be 30 years old this April, 2004. Various celebrations will be taking place including a photograph of all club members,coaches and volunteers which will be taken in the stadium grounds. Keep your eyes open for the forthcoming date.

| Congratulatons to four of Tamworth AC's veteran athletes who are ranked in the UK Rankings for 2003. Honours go to race walker Sheila Owen, heavy thows athlete Brian Sumner, thrower Phil Owen and track athlete Collin Green.

| Indoor Track And Training Facility Update |

| Tamworth Borough Council have approved the draft plans for the proposed Indoor Track and Training Centre to be built at the Marlborough Way Stadium home of Tamworth Athletic Club.
