Tamworth's young athletes maintained third place in the Birmingham Sports Hall League with some good performances in the second match of the season. Parkes won his four lap race, teamed up with Roughley to win the eight lap parlauf, took second place in the speed bounce event and seventh in the standing long jump.
Roughley also won his four lap race and finished in eighth place in the long jump and ninth in the shot.
David Hudson finished in third place in the 4x2 lap race, was fourth in the two lap individual, third in the speed bounce and tenth in the standing triple jump.
Jordan Roach took third place in his two lap individual race, fifth in the triple jump, sixth in the shot and third with David Hudson, Adam McGee and Nathan Christian in the 4x2 lap relay.
McGee also took third place in his two lap race, seventh in the speed bounce event and ninth in the standing triple jump.
Christian finished fourth in his four lap race, tenth in the long jump and 11th in the shot.
This gives the under-15 boys third place in the overall team competition for their age group, with Stephen Parkes in seventh place overall in the individual competition.
Tamworth winners in the under-15s girls age group were Milly Kellyman and Sophie Taylor.
Kellyman won her two lap race, took third place in the shot, fourth in the vertical jump and teamed up with Taylor, Beth Scattergood and Maddie Brown for third spot in the 4x2 lap relay.
Taylor won the four lap race, took fourth place in the shot and eighth in the vertical jump.
Scattergood was third in the two lap race, fifth in the long jump and seventh in the speed bounce.
Brown was fourth in the two lap race, tenth in the shot and the same position in the vertical jump.
Hannah Sargeant got good points for the team with third place in the four lap race, another third in the long jump, fourth in the speed bounce and joined Amy Williams in the eight lap parlauf for another third place.Williams was third in her four lap race, fourth in the long jump and tenth in the speed bounce.
This gave the under-15 girls second place overall with Kellyman fifth and Sargeant sixth in the overall standings.
In the under-13 boys competition, Anthony Parkes and Richard Mahoney won the eight lap parlauf race with Parkes also taking second place in the four lap race and Mahoney in fourth place in the same event.
Charlie Mayou took second place in the speed bounce and eighth in the triple jump.
Jack Childs finished in third place in the six lap race and tenth in the triple jump.
Aiden Blythe, Cameron Bancroft, James Thacker and Jack Williams took third place in the 4x2 lap relay.
In the individual events, Blythe finished in fifth place in the shot and eighth in the vertical jump.Bancroft was fifth in the vertical jump, Thacker sixth in the two lap race and Williams eighth in the two lap race.
Ricky Hawkes, Tom Miller, Jake Notman and Matthew Browne finished in fourth place in the circuit relay. Hawkes also took fifth place in the speed bounce, Browne the same position in the long jump, Miller seventh in the shot and Nottman seventh in the long jump.
In the under-13 girls age group, Danielle Norton took second place in the four lap race, teamed up with Josie Cassar for another second in the eight lap parlauf and with Louisa Facchino-Stack, Chloe Saunders and Iona Glenn for third place in the 4x2 lap relay.
Josie Cassar was also part of the circuit relay team that finished in third place, took another third in the vertical jump and seventh in the two lap race.
Glenn finished in second spot in the six lap race, seventh in the long jump and the same place in the speed bounce. Saunders also gained a second place in the two lap race, and third in the triple jump.Facchino-Stack finished in eighth place in the four lap race.
Lauren Saunders, Danielle Cassar, Charlotte Weston and Jocelyn Spencer finished third in the circuit relay with Saunders fourth in the speed bounce, Cassar seventh in the triple jump, Spencer sixth in the shot, eighth in the vertical jump and tenth in the long jump. Weston finished in eighth place in the shot.
In the under-11 girls events, Jessica Hurst took second place in the speed bounce, joined Corrine Blythe to win the 2x2 lap relay race, was third with Blythe in the 2x1 lap race and joined with Georgina Steggles, Eloise Redfern and Blythe to finish second in the 4x1 one lap relay.
Blythe and Redfern won the six lap parlauf with Redfern also second in the triple jump and third in the one lap race, while Steggles finished ninth in the triple jump.
Chloe Williams and Olivia Woodward took third place in the 2x2 lap race.Williams finished in fourth place in the long jump and Woodward fifth in the speed bounce.
Samantha Lawton, Halina Richardson-Henry, Bethan Roach and Chloe Williams finished in third place in the circuit relay.
Lawton won the vertical jump event and finished in fourth place in the chest push.Richardson-Henry finished in fifth place in the vertical jump and seventh in the chest push with Roach eighth in the long jump.
In the under-11 boys contest, James Baccus won the vertical jump event and teamed up with Kev Hutton to take second place in the 2x1 lap relay.Baccus and Hatton joined Harrison Mayou and Ryan Christian to take third place in the 4x1 lap race.
Hatton was also second in the triple jump and second in the vertical jump.Mayou was seventh in the triple jump and Christian seventh in the chest push.
Kane Densley and Ellis Cross finished second in their 2x2 lap race, with Densley also second in the long jump and fourth in the speed bounce.
Mayou, Cross, Riece Bruton and Thomas Richards were fourth in the circuit relay.
Richards and Christian combined for third place in the 2x2 lap race. Richards also took fifth place in the speed bounce. Robert Stroud finished in second place in the one lap race, third in the long jump, sixth in the speed bounce and partnered Cross in the six lap parlauf for third place.
